Overview
EIM Solutions implemented one of the largest technical upgrade projects in African region. It was a technical upgrade project from SAP 4.6 to ECC 6.0.
Bamburi Cement Ltd. was founded in 1951 by Felix Mandl – a director of Cementia Holding A.G. Zurich. Bamburi Cement is the largest cement manufacturing company in the region and its Mombasa plant is the second largest cement plant in sub-Saharan Africa.

Technical Upgrade at Bamburi Cements
EIM Solutions implemented one of the largest technical upgrade projects in African region. It was a technical upgrade project from SAP 4.6 to ECC 6.0. The basis team had done an outstanding job to finish the installation of test and development server within a week.
Scope of work
Bamburi Cement Ltd has increased its production Capacity from 1.1 Million Tons to 2.1 Million Tonnes. As its production expanded so did its operations due to which there was a need for several new reports to be developed especially with respect to the Logistics Modules (MM and PP). Highlights of the project included
