Information of SAP- and non-SAP-applications, Data Warehouses and desktop-documents as well as internal and external web contents and web services are consolidated centrally on one consistent platform. Via user-friendly interface users have access to all relevant data and can transform unstructured information into funded knowledge.
Implementation
Highlights
Through the implementation of the enterprise portal, access to critical information assets ws provided. All users could store/share company documents and share their views and knowledge through wikis and forums. The portal also had essentials features like identity management, document search and subscriptions, portal drive etc., which could be used by the employees on a day to day basis. Custom applications such as visitor pass management, conference room booking system, canteen management system, library management was also developed. These applications were integrated with the EP portal.
